Social Media Intern Job

UkulimaTech, a leading company in designing, developing and installation of Vertical Farming Systems as well as promoting data-driven agriculture is offering an internship opportunity for a talented social media intern.

Qualifications needed:

Background in communications, digital media or marketing is an asset.

Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills.

Have strong oral and written communication skills in English – you communicate clearly, concisely, and with tact.

Experience in social media management.

Familiarity with Google analytics, online marketing, Search Engine Optimization, scheduling tools & design tools e.g. Hootsuite.

Skills Needed:

Meticulous and strong attention to detail.

Good interpersonal skills.

Capable of working independently and taking initiative as well as collaborating with the team.

Ability to work under minimum supervision.

Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Flexible and willing to perform tasks outside of core duties.

In-depth knowledge on effective social media marketing techniques.

Must have a passion for technology and desire to learn.

Strong research proficiency. This includes understanding different business industries.

Excellent writing and editing skills. Must be able to write short captions, articles, blog posts etc.

Diligent and detail-oriented- Paying high attention to detail and double-checking everything.

Highly adaptable and flexible – can thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Have strong organizational and planning skills.
